Many companies are bothered by annoying Spam and have looked to

SPF routes mail to our co-location facility where it is scrubbed
for adult content, black listed senders, and viruses, then it is
passed on to the recipient. If your Exchange server is down
for any reason, our SPF server will house your email until the
connection can be re-established.
